- No thanks, I’ll walk: A visit with Grandma is great, except when she’s a scary stranger trying to stuff you in a car.
An elderly woman wanted to be judge and jury to two boys when she demanded they get in her car.
Police are looking for the woman after she reportedly followed two 13-year-old boys who were walking home in San Anselmo on Wednesday.
The two boys were walking from a downtown restaurant to their house on Greenfield Avenue about 6:40 p.m. when the woman pulled up alongside them and told them to get in the car.
They did not know the woman and cut through a parking lot to get away from her, police said.
She stopped again on Greenfield Avenue and told them, “You’re guilty. You’re delusional. Get in the car,” according to police.
The two boys told the woman, “No,” and she drove east on Greenfield Avenue to Redhill Avenue toward San Rafael.
The boys told their parents what happened, who called police.
The woman was described as a white woman in her 70s with gray hair and glasses, driving a dark-blue sedan with a large plant in the back seat.
