Jordan who? Christina Aguilera does not seem too distressed about being the future ex-Mrs. Jordan Bratman — she is already hot and heavy with her new man. The divorcing diva and beau Matthew Rutler hung out at the Abbey in West Hollywood on Wednesday, where they engaged in major PDA.
“She and Matthew were seen making out most of the night,” a club rep told E! Online. “She had a good time, laughing and relaxing from a long month of promoting ‘Burlesque.’”
The pair met earlier this year on the film’s set, where Matthew was an assistant. According to Star magazine, they have been dating since September. But the tabloid reported that the rebound romance could backfire on Xtina.
“Christina is completely taken with Matthew,” an insider said. “But he’s a wild rocker type with a reputation as a ladies’ man.”
Matthew, who moonlights in a band, is said to be “a major operator” who “networks like crazy with all the big names she introduces him to,” the source said. “And everything is on her dime because he’s broke. Matt used to live in a crummy apartment with roommates. Now he’s at her Beverly Hills mansion every night. He’s in heaven!
“She’s so fragile and isn’t seeing clearly. Everyone is concerned that it’s too much too soon.”
Even if he is a good guy, we would guess that starting a relationship right after filing for divorce is too much too soon.
Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez are back on — but for how long?
The actress and the Yankees slugger were sighted dining at a West Hollywood private club Nov. 17, where “they looked super couple-y,” a source told Us magazine. “Cameron was holding his hand and nuzzling him.”
Also, TMZ snapped photos of the couple working out side by side at a Miami gym Wednesday.
Although an earlier tabloid report claimed he just was not into her anymore, the Us source said the romance initially flamed out in October because “they needed space.” And the A-Rod pal predicts the same thing may happen again: “They break up and get back together all the time.”
Well, if they are smart, they will do it soon — so they do not have to buy each other holiday gifts.
Taylor Swift’s romance with Jake Gyllenhaal is going strong — fueled by java. The couple stopped into a Brooklyn, N.Y., coffeehouse for maple lattes on Thanksgiving, and just two days later they hit another coffeehouse in Nashville, Tenn., the singer’s home base.
As they enjoyed a late breakfast, “they were smiling and laughing. They were talking a lot and enjoying each other’s company,” a patron told People magazine. “They didn’t look like [just] friends.”
Another onlooker said, “They were not trying to be discreet by any means. They were definitely a couple. They looked very happy.”
One customer took and promptly tweeted a photo of the country prodigy, 20, and the “Prince of Persia” star, 29. She described them as “very cute,” adding that “they seemed close.”
First they went for ice cream, now they are drinking coffee? Is anyone concerned about the example these young stars are setting for children, being all hopped up on sugar and caffeine?
