If demented serial killer Richard Ramirez can get married, then why can’t disturbed Aurora, Colo., shooting suspect James Holmes also inspire lust in the hearts of exceedingly desperate “fans”?

They call themselves “Holmies,” and at least one of them has gone public with her feelings for James.

Misty Benjamin, 30, told The Daily Beast that she thinks he’s super cute, and, “When I get upset, I look at his picture and calm down.”

The Mormon (?) woman dyed her hair orange in solidarity with her soul mate, who she says did a bad thing but is not a bad guy.

A Facebook group for Holmies also has popped up, and though members claim they do not condone what he did, they do post court-artist depictions of the guy with the words “F****n’ hot” written next to them.

To quote an old song: “He hit me and it felt like a kiss.”
