A charitable man was hoodwinked in the Mission on Monday after he was robbed by two women he had just given money to, police said.

The 26-year-old victim was sitting in his car at 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue about 6:30 a.m. when two women, one in her 30s and the other in her 20s, approached and asked him for money for food, police said.

The victim gave the women some cash and then one of them brandished a blade and demanded his wallet and cellphone, too, police said. The crooks fled on foot and no arrests have been made.
