Scoop: Assault allegations leveled on Charlie Sheen

A disturbing development in what we thought was a closed case: Charlie Sheen’s Christmas Day altercation with wife Brooke Mueller may not have been the first time things got physical with the couple.

Per police reports, Brooke told cops who arrived to investigate the infamous dispute that just two or three months earlier, he shoved her into a piece of furniture, resulting in head trauma that required a CAT scan and treatment by three physicians.

One officer wrote in his report, “I asked [Sheen] if he ever harmed Mueller in the past. [Sheen] stated that approximately two months ago, in California, Mueller accused him of sleeping with prostitutes. [Sheen] stated that he denied this allegation, which escalated into a ‘huge fight.’ He added that when Mueller attempted to leave the argument, he grabbed her by the wrist, causing her to fall to the ground. [Sheen] added that Mueller hit the back of her head on a piece of furniture as she fell to the ground.”

The “Two and a Half Men” star maintained that his wife’s “injury was not intentional, adding that she accidentally hit her head as he was trying to restrain her.”

However, Brooke was allegedly “upset” when informed of that account of the incident.

Tame game

Katy Perry said there’s no truth to the widespread perception that she “tamed” former Lothario-turned-doting-fiance Russell Brand. To hear the “California Gurls” singer tell it, the randy actor just ran out of sexual steam.

“I mean, you don’t have the stamina to be in bed with 80 different women a week when you’re 35 and trying to do good work,” Katy said in a recent interview. “It’s not about taming, because that won’t last. Not everything stays perfect.”

Lonely Lindsay

Don’t expect to see Samantha Ronson or Kim Kardashian drop by to support their detoxing pal Lindsay Lohan any time soon. The starlet’s 90-day rehab program at UCLA Medical Center doesn’t permit visits from friends during the first month, TMZ reported.

Relatives, however, are allowed — and, not surprisingly, mom Dina and sister Ali have already paid multiple visits to LiLo. (DiLo told paparazzi her daughter was doing “great” in treatment.)

But since even family members require the patient’s permission to enter the facility, don’t expect to see dad Michael any time soon.

Lady in waiting

Prince William’s girlfriend, Kate Middleton, is known in the U.K. tabloid press as “Waity Katie,” as in waiting for him to put a ring on it. And despite rampant rumors of an imminent royal betrothal, it looks like she may have to keep waiting.

The heir to the British throne has hinted that he’s not about to walk down the aisle in the near future.

A royal photographer who has worked with Wills his entire life said recently on “Good Morning America” that “William said to me recently, ‘I hope you’re not going to retire.’ And I said, ‘I’m not going to retire until I take your wedding photo.’ And he said, ‘Well, that might be a little while to wait, then.’”
