Two of our all-time favorite artists, the Quin sisters, Tegan and Sara, aren’t going out with a no-release whimper in 2011.

They’re offering their fans a truly special package on Nov. 15 called “Get Along”; pre-orders for various versions of the set have already begun at www.teganandsara.com.

What is it, exactly?

Merely a three-film-and-live-album set that offers fans a rare an intimate glimpse at this Canadian duo’s career.

The first film, “States,” is a 30 minute documentary that employs American tour footage and interviews to shed light on the girls’ humble cassette-recorded beginnings, as well as their remarkably devoted fan base.

Film No. 2? A 25 minute doc dubbed “India,” a travelogue shot during their first-ever tour of said exotic land.

The third entry is “For The Most Part,” a 70 minute bare-bones concert taped at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver, before an audience of 75 fans, friends and family. The CD, of course, will feature 15 live tracks from the DVD.

Yep, the Quins are definitely saying goodbye to this old year with quite a hearty roar.
