Three strikes and he’s way, way out! A San Francisco man has been sentenced to 198 years to life in prison under California’s three-strikes law after the veteran crook whiffed in an attempt to flee police following an arrest.

Thirty-nine-year-old Daniel Longorio’s request for a judge to forgive past felonies was denied in a San Mateo County courtroom Friday.

Longorio was arrested in connection with armed home invasion robberies in Daly City in 2009. Knowing he was facing three strikes, he tried to make a run for it while sheriff’s deputies were transporting him from the courthouse to county jail.

He managed to jump out a van and flee despite his custody manacles. He was caught 1,000 feet away, authorities said.

Despite the 198-to-life slammer sentence, the judge gave him 905 days credit for time he has already served.
